More space for outdoor activities was required after the school administration had decided to extend the school's hours of operation. The schoolyard was expanded to the other side of the road. Playground equipment was installed in this narrow area along the path. A climbing course was extended over two hills, including an integrated slide. For lessons outside the classroom, a pavilion was built and granite curbs were included in a gradient lawn.
Ebersstrasse, blocked off to all vehicular traffic, is used as an open playground with table tennis tables, trampolines, basketball nets, and wooden sculptures.
