Redesign
Alteration of Kollwitzsquare on Berlin's east side.
The historical Jewish gangway is emblematically extended on the square in the form of a basin. To accentuate this element, the adjacent areas and tree rows were aligned to it. As opposed to the previous design the square is more open and provides more space for recreational activities. Visitors to the weekly farmers market, pedestrians, and patrons of the area's nightlife attractions such as restaurants and bars are better introduced to this square as a result of its design.
